A British company may have developed one of the fastest e-scooters in mass production. Bo's latest creation, the Turbo, is fundamentally different from conventional e-scooters due to its enormous speed.

The turbo is based on the normal Model M from Bo, but integrates components from racing. The scooter has two electric motors, each of which can process over 300 amperes of peak current. An 88-volt battery system with 1,800 watt-hours provides the energy required for high-performance operation.
According to the manufacturer, cooling systems from motorsport help to dissipate the heat generated. The design includes a Formula 1-inspired brake air intake and Ram air ducts. The milled aluminum chassis also functions as a heat sink for the battery system.
Tests took place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex, where professional racer Tre Whyte reached speeds of 137 km/h. Bo claims that the acceleration performance is equivalent to that of a Tesla Model 3, which typically reaches 100 km / h in under five seconds.

Harry Wills, chief technology officer of Bo, explained that the current tests represented the initial stage of development. The team plans to gradually increase power and speed until the 160 km/ h target is reached.
The production will only be order-related, with prices starting at 29,500 US dollars per piece. The company emphasized that the turbo was designed for experienced drivers and racetrack use, not for urban commuting.
