Google is bundling the visual capabilities of its AI models and introducing Flow, a tool that can generate short film scenes.
Google introduces Veo 3 image-to-video generation feature to Gemini app
Google has introduced Flow, an AI tool for film production. It is specifically designed to work with the company's other AI models: it combines the capabilities of Veo 3 for video creation, Imagen for image generation, and Gemini for logical conclusions and understanding descriptions.
Film scene by text input
As the Internet giant informs in a press release, Flow only requires a text input for the scene creation. The AI then interprets the user's request and translates it into video clips with sound and image. If necessary, you can integrate your own assets or generate new elements by means of additional text inputs. Characters or scenes created once can also be saved and reused as building blocks in later clips.
Tools for post-processing the scenes
Flow provides some tools to adjust the movie scenes afterwards. For example, a camera control function is included, with which users can adjust movements, perspectives and angles. "Scenebuilder" allows you to expand the shots or link scenes with transitions. As a result, several clips can be connected to each other to form longer sequences. An asset management system gives users direct access to all actors, elements and prompts used in the scene in order to change them if necessary.
Price and availability
Flow is now available as part of the paid subscription models Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra. Google AI Pro subscription costs 21.99 euros per month and allows up to 100 video productions during this period. With Google AI Ultra, subscribers can create an unlimited number of scenes with Flow and also receive additional benefits such as YouTube Premium and 30 terabytes of cloud storage. The monthly price for this package is 274.99 euros.
