CPUs at Mindfactory: Ryzen 7 9800X3D back in the fast lane

After the surprising sales success of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D at Mindfactory, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is preparing to turn things around again this week.
The fresh CPU sales figures at Mindfactory in the past 30 calendar week, reveal some interesting data. Compared to last week, the sales figures have fallen sharply. While almost 3,300 processors were still sold in week 29 via the German mail-order company, which will be transferred to the Heise Group at the end of the month, according to TechEpiphany data, there were only over 2,200 processors in week 30. A good third of the sales were thus omitted.
Intel on the ground, Ryzen 7 9800X3D in attack position
Intel still remains completely out of focus when it comes to Mindfactory's sales figures. A meager 6.7 percent of CPU sales are attributable to the struggling chip manufacturer, which only recently had to cancel its construction project in Magdeburg. On top of that, the new core ultra CPUs sell worse in week 30 than the 14th core generation. With 20 units sold, the Core i5-14400 is Intel's most successful processor.
At the very top of the Mindfactory sales figures for the past week is still the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which sold only half as often as in the week before. The Zen-4 CPU may have to pass on the scepter to its Zen-5 successor this week, because the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is getting suspiciously close, after 300 fewer units were sold by it in week 29. Now the two X3D eight-cores are separated by only 70 sold copies.

Behind the 7800X3D and 9800X3D there are other Zen-4 and Zen-5 CPUs, but their sales figures are significantly lower than those of the first two processors. With 130 sales, the efficiency and price-performance recommendation Ryzen 5 7500F is in third place, followed by the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but in the tray version, which is no less popular with customers, and the Ryzen 5 9600X.
