The AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 with 32 GiByte GDDR6 graphics memory, which was officially presented at Computex 2025, has now been listed as available in US stores for the first time and was sold out after a very short time. At a price of $ 1,329.99, the AI graphics card was offered through the US retailer Newegg, but was out of stock within a very short time. The hardware shipper also offers third-party goods for purchase.

The third-party product, which was probably previously purchased at the regular price of 1,329.99 US dollars at Newegg, is offered on the same platform for 1,499.00 US dollars, but again the offer is limited to two copies.
The custom design of the Radeon AI Pro R9700 is currently being offered at the US retailer Tech-America at a price of 1,267 US dollars, with a total of ten copies of the professional graphics card currently available here.
While the Radeon Pro W7900 is currently on sale for about 3,300 to 3,800 euros, the Radeon Pro W7800, which, like the Radeon AI Pro R9700, can rely on 32 gibytes of graphics memory, is currently priced at 2,000 to 2,400 euros. At the current strong euro exchange rate, the Radeon AI Pro R9700 is expected to be on sale at around 1,250 to 1,450 euros.
AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700: RDNA 4 with 32 GiByte only for professionals
Like the Radeon RX 9070 XT, the Radeon AI Pro R9700 is based on the full-featured Navi-48 GPU, the Navi 48 XTX, with 64 compute units, 4,096 FP32 shader units and 128 AI accelerators as well as 64 ray tracing cores. Unlike the gaming graphics card, which has to make do with 16 gibytes, the new professional accelerator has a double memory expansion with 32 gibytes of GDDR6 graphics memory. The TDP is still 300 watts, the AI performance is ~ 1,531 TOPS ("Sparsity") or ~ 765 TOPS in INT4 ("FP16") without sparsity optimizations.
It is not yet known when the AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 will go on sale in this country. AMD has not yet made an official statement in this regard.
