The AMD Ryzen 5 5500X3D has now appeared in a benchmark database for the first time ever and, in direct comparison to a Ryzen 5 5500X, delivers the same single-core performance with about 18 percent more multi-thread performance.

In the PassMark, it delivers the same single-core performance in direct comparison to a Ryzen 5 5500X with about 18 percent higher multi-thread performance. The gaming performance is estimated to be 10 percent below AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D.

The Ryzen 5 5500X3D has a 300 MHz lower base clock of 3.0 GHz and a 400 MHz lower boost clock of 4.0 GHz compared to the Ryzen 5 5600X3D. Otherwise, as usual, 6 Zen-3 processor cores and a total of 12 threads as well as 64 MiBytes of fast 3D V-Cache are offered here.
