Asrock X870 LiveMixer WiFi: New AM5 motherboard comes with 25 USB ports

The ASRock X870 LiveMixer WiFi AM5 motherboard was unveiled a month ago—at least in the US, it has now been released. The manufacturer sees the main selling point in the USB ports, as 25 are provided.
Last July, the Taiwanese manufacturer Asrock introduced several AM5 motherboards, including the X870 LiveMixer WiFi. At least in the USA, the board - which is designed for streamers and content creators - is celebrating its release. For a recommended retail price of $ 230, buyers will receive a properly equipped I/O panel.

Because in total, there are 25 USB ports on the X870 LiveMixer WiFi, which are divided into the following sockets:
- 2x USB4 Type-C (Rear)
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C (Front)
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C (Rear)
- 11x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A (7 Rear, 4 Front)
- 10x USB 2.0 (6 Rear, 4 Front)
Among the other connection options on the X870 LiveMixer WiFi, Asrock mentions Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. In addition, an HDMI port without mentioning the standard and a Realtek ALC4082 chip are on board.

With regard to voltage modulation, the X870 LiveMixer WiFi has 19 phases (16+2+1 ) on. As an AM5 motherboard, the Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series are of course compatible. The usual four DDR5 slots are available for the main memory, which support a speed of up to 8,000 MT/s and a capacity of up to 256 GiB.
Also in the context of the expansion slots, the Asrock X870 LiveMixer WiFi relies on ground: here you will find two M.2 slots with PCIe 5.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4 each; in addition, there are two additional SATA 3.0 ports. The graphics card connector, in turn, can fall back on PCIe 5.0 x16, while two more connectors with PCIe 3.0 x16 are available for other expansion cards. However, a release date for the European market is still pending for the X870 LiveMixer.
