To mark the 30th anniversary of its first dedicated graphics card, Asus will introduce a new flagship model among its custom GeForce RTX 5090 designs. The Asus ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 Platinum could be unveiled at Gamescom.

The Taiwanese manufacturer Asus, founded in 1989, will present a new top model among its custom designs of the Nvidia Geforce RTX 5090 in honor of the 30th anniversary of its first dedicated graphics card, the Asus 375 with S3 Virge/DX graphics processor. An Asus ROG Matrix Geforce RTX 5090 Platinum could be presented at Gamescom, which will take place in Cologne from August 20 to 24, 2025.
The design looks as implemented as with the Asus ROG Astral Geforce RTX 5090 and could be flanked by an even more elaborate ARGB lighting. However, the short teaser does not really reveal much so far. The graphics card is intended for the 30th anniversary of the Asus 375, which was released in 1996 and preceded the very first 2D / 3D graphics card of the manufacturer, the Asus AGP-V3000 from 1997. The first ROG matrix appeared only in 2007.
Further exciting information on the 30th anniversary of the graphics cards and other innovations from Asus is provided by a specially created website. There is also an anniversary raffle taking place, in which there are Geforce graphics cards to be won. These actions will run until and including October 8, 2025.
