Developer Amr Satrio has fixed more than 15 bugs in the new version of the Explorer patcher. The customization tool, with which the appearance of Windows 10 can also be used under Windows 11, should now work correctly with builds 26100.4946, 26100.5074, 26200.5751 and 26220.6682.
Thus, in the new version, errors related to Windows 11 24H2 and Start11, the Windows application from Stardock for customizing the Start menu and taskbar, were primarily corrected. Also graphical errors in the option "Reduce the height of the address bar" should now be eliminated. There were also corrections for older versions of Windows, so the title bar should be displayed correctly again under 22H2.

Several fixes concern the weather widget, where the error message "Unable to load weather information" should no longer appear. The reason for this should have been changes on the part of Google. The icons in the weather button should also be displayed correctly again, whereby it may be necessary to delete local data in the widget properties.
The Arm64 version of the Explorer patcher also received adjustments. Among other things, incompatibilities with certain Windhawk mods that integrate CreateWindowExW have been fixed. This includes, among other things, the Taskbar Volume Control. In addition, a rare bug was fixed in which mounted functions could lead to crashes if they were called until a reboot.

The ExplorerPatcher makes it possible to transfer numerous elements of the Windows 10 theme such as the Start menu, taskbar and context menus to Windows 11. In addition, the tool offers many other customization features. However, it should be noted that the ExplorerPatcher intervenes deeply in Windows system components, which can lead to instabilities or other problems, especially after updates.
