Radeon RX 9070 (XT): Numbers on Steam are still questionable

For the first time ever, RDNA 4 graphics cards appear in the Steam Hardware & Software Survey. However, the statistics collected monthly by Valve still have very little significance and are hardly valid.
After AMD's current RDNA-4 graphics cards were previously excluded from the monthly Steam hardware & software survey, they are now appearing in the current surveys for the first time ever. However, the statistics collected by Valve on a monthly basis still have very little validity and are therefore hardly valid, as it is not clear whether the "AMD Radeon RX 9070" is a summary of the entire Radeon RX 9070 Series or a graphics card. Steam is only trading at 0.22%.

In the dedicated surveys on the graphics cards under the graphics APIs DirectX and Vulkan, there is then at least a differentiation between the Radeon RX 9070 and Radeon RX 9070 GRE. Again, the numbers are not significant and are again on the order of "meaningless". Valve is still not documenting the Radeon RX 9070 XT, which is selling about ten times as often in retail terms compared to the figures. Obviously, the manual activation is still not running properly. Currently, these data collections from Valve should not have much significance.
Steam simply has to manually activate the Geforce RTX 5070 laptop, Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon RX 9070 XT for this statistics display - and has not done so yet, that's why those cards are missing in this statistics. - 3DCenter.org -
Currently, it is therefore still necessary to wait for Valve to properly activate the Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9060 XT and thus automatically include them in the Steam hardware & software survey. The current figures are therefore no more than a rough estimate iron, in which important models are even missing altogether.
